What's Happening At RWASD:

2009 Chapter Elections

The RWASD board member elections and By-Laws vote will be held on September 20, 2008 during the regular chapter meeting. 

Your chapter nominating committee--Judy Duarte, Teresa Carpenter, and
Shirley Wilder--are looking for people willing to serve on the 2009 board.

If you'd be interested in a great opportunity to network and to serve the
chapter, let one of us know. We'd be happy to help you find the perfect spot.

Or if you're a current board member who wants to keep their position or try
something new, let us know.

As an FYI, the board meets on the first Monday of the month at Keith's
restaurant, which is located just off I-15 at Mira Mar Rd. Meetings start at
6 PM  and are usually over by 7:30-ish.

Saturday August 16th -  Taylor Wilshire will be leading a morning session on "The Missing Ingredients in the Writing Process: Tips That Can Help". In the afternoon we will hold an RWA National Conference Recap.

This meeting is a Pot Luck.
